Privacy policy

Who we are

DeviceWorthy (deviceworthy.com) is run by THH Group. For anything about this policy, write to [email protected].

What we collect

You can use the whole site without an account, and we never ask for your name, e-mail or payment details.

When you follow a link to a product's website through DeviceWorthy, we record that a click happened: which item, which of our sites, and the time. We do not store your IP address, a cookie ID or anything else that identifies you. To count a visitor only once, the server briefly remembers in memory which link was clicked from which address; that is never written down and is forgotten within six hours. These counts help decide the order of our rankings.

Our hosting infrastructure may keep standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, time) for security and troubleshooting. We do not use them to profile visitors or share them with anyone.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

The compare feature keeps the items you picked in your browser's local storage, on your device only. It never reaches our servers, and you can clear it at any time with the "Clear" button or your browser settings.

Third parties

Product photos and logos are loaded from the brand's or store's own servers (for example Shopify's image CDN) or, for some logos, from Google's favicon service. Those requests go straight from your browser to them and are covered by their privacy policies.

When you leave for a product's website, that website's own privacy policy applies.

We do not sell, rent or share personal data, and we do not run third-party advertising.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or UK GDPR) you may ask what data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Because we keep almost nothing that identifies you, there is usually nothing to hand over, but write to [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days.

Children

DeviceWorthy is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information about them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update it on this page and change the date above.
